No matter what, Sunday is suppose to be a family day. Instead of going out with my family or stay at home (that's what i usually do), i spent my Sunday with my cousin and i must say it was awesome. An awesome day due to our fickled minded and unplan destination. We seriously don't know where we were heading next or alighting. Both of us (especially me) intend to shop alot of things that day. Cousin wanted to get a new pair of pants & a school bag, whereas myself; i had alot of things in my list. We headed to alot of places. From Bishan to roaming aimlessly at Orchard and back to Yishun. I seriously didn't know what to get for myself. Everything seems soo meaningless (i dont know why i use the 'meaningless' word). We were soo pathetic especially when i brought my cousin all the way to Lucky Plaza cos i wanted us to get this bag. Ended up she didnt, neither did i. Gosh i tell you, our feets were really sore at the end of the day. But it really paid off :) We were even fickled about choosing our place to have our dinner. At first we headed to Yishun banquet cos the both of us were craving for some fish&chips/chickenchop. Went there and we were lucky to get a table. I asked my cousin to run for that table cos there were alot of people eyeing for it. Quack quack! Then when we sat down, we somehow changed our mind. We wanted to dine at Swensen instead. Had to queue, order, waited for soo long for our food to be serve & in between we had a good story telling. Both of us had a tasteful meal plus a wonderful dessert. We were both delighted :D In addition, our bills were discounted. All thanks to my cousin's friend who was working on that day. (i knew it she would give us discount!) Btw, cousin and i were fighting to pay for the bill. Swear it look like our parents (you know i know!) Haha! That part was very funny! Very makcik2 aunty2 you know! We walked back home happily; happy boncit girls :D
Oh did i tell you i didn't get anything for myself? (except for a pathetic spray i bought at which wasnt inside my shopping list). And did i tell you cousin was satisfied after getting her pants at Northpoint? The moral of the story is, firstly you don't have to gooo soo far away to get things you need. Secondly, don't plan your shopping day.
